Today I watched NostagiaChick’s review of Anastasia, and while it was (as usual) funny and pointed, it reminded me of something very important.

Sophie is a mega-hottie. Fat ladies— need a fashion idol?? LOOK NO FURTHER. Sophie I-Don’t-Know-If-She-Has-A-Last-Name of the delightful Fox movie Anastasia has it all. She’s sassy. She’s Parisian. She wears great dresses and changes five times in the 20 minutes of the movie she’s in.

I mean, seriously. Just look at her. Hot.

It’s been way too long since I saw this movie… Every time I think back to it, all I remember is Rasputin singing a dance number on his… planet?? with a mob of evil caterpillars.  Oh, Don Bluth.

But yes, I remember now! She was awesome. I should rewatch.

I know that some of my followers will greatly benefit from seeing this, and it’s true; Sophie is large and gorgeous, it shouldn’t matter how big someone is if they look beautiful and it certainly doesn’t to me. c:

I have a huge gay crush on Sophie. She and Vlad were my favorite characters.

Sophie was diva as fuck! (As grossly historically inaccurate as that movie was…..) it was fantastic. (Granted, you can’t have everyone get shot and die in the first scene. That’s just not fair for a kids’ movie.)
